We are a community of ordinary people who worship an extraordinary God. We don't think we are any better than others, but through believing in Jesus, we believe we are better off because He is the way to an authentic, full, and abundant life. We are a church for anyone who wants to take a step forward in the adventure of faith, whether you are not yet sure if God exists or have been following Jesus for a lifetime.
So, if you’re new to church, looking for a Church home, or want to know more about faith in Jesus, then we are here to help you.
If you are planning a visit, here are some things you might like to know:
Church Service Time
We have one Service at 10.30am. This is a meaningful time which includes prayer, Communion, and a motivating and challenging biblical sermon that is relevant and applicable to life today. Whether it’s your first time at church, or you’ve been in church for years, our Sunday service is a welcoming and safe place for you to attend and to discover how to become a Christian or to explore your faith and grow in your relationship with Jesus.
We aim for our service to go for 60 minutes, but it may go slightly over sometimes.
What happens after the Service?
Everyone is welcome to stay after the Church Service and have a cuppa and biscuit and chat. This enables you to meet with our Pastor and Leadership as well as the wider congregation and to ask any questions you may have about Church or Jesus.
We would also love the opportunity to get to know you.

Peel Street Church of Christ is located on the corner of Peel & Eastwood Streets, Ballarat Central. The actual street address is 37-39 Peel Street South, Ballarat, Victoria 3350, however, some navigation systems locate us as being in Bakery Hill instead of Ballarat Central.
